Preface with the fact that I know very little about network solutions. My Internet configuration is a Gigabit Fios router running approximately 30 meters from the new Cat6 with a new gigabit Netgear switch, to which two 10/100/1000 compatible computers are connected via two brief Cat 7 runs. Both computers display 1.0 Gbps in the Network and Sharing Center (Window192.168.1.254 s 7) when set to Automatic Trap Speed and Duplex. When downloading files, each is limited to a download speed of about 11-14 MB / s regardless of the source, but if they are both downloading files, the second computer that will launch the download will prioritize the bandwidth and will increase to about 1-3 MB / s on the first to boot and ~ 7-10 MB / s on the other. 10.0.0.0.1
