Can anyone help me in English please ?

I haven't been in France since last October and am about to return, I think I recall that if the Livebox isn't used for 90 days it goes to sleep and you have to plug it into laptop via a network cable to do something to wake it up .... can anyone help please ? I also thought there was an Orange english speaking helpline but I'm having problems tracking the number down ....

Just try begining your posts with some french greetings, you don't need to learn french for that.

I don't think there is here an english help line more than a french helpline by BT. 😁

Don't worry. Come back to your french lodge and power up your box again.

If and only if it does not work, call 3900 or update this thread, i'll help you.

It could be as simple as that : after powering up your box, you'll get an SMS on the phone declre in your Orange account as contactphone#, in that case, just open the included link and your box will be "on air" back again.

Connecting a PC with en Ethernet cable may also be of great help.

Open the page http://Livebox and you'll be able of configuring your box.

All information that could be usefull is

identitifiant de connexion it allways begin with fti/...

and

mot de passe de connexion

You may be requested to reenter them into your box.

Youll find them on your welcome letter you got from Orange

Merci beaucoup PhilDur, there has been an English-speaking Orange telephone helpdesk which I have used before as there were lots of English clients of Orange.

Probablement c'est aux autre problème au cause de de Brexit - j'aime beaucoup Europe !

Nothing to do with Brexit, it wood have been the same problem with "remain" victory.

Main cause is simply : money !
