I am working for my french client and he has a static ip on a livebox

how do we put that static ip on our own device?

Mac Passtrough or bridging?

Over here in Belgium we just give the mac adres of the firewall and it gets bound to that...

Chez Orange, les IPV4 Wan ne sont fixes que pour les contrats pros.

Si c'est le cas et si tu connais cette IP, qu'est ce qui t'empêche de saisir cette IPV4 cible dans ton device concerné.??

assuming I correctly understand what you're looking to do, ie replacing the Livebox by your own router.

If ADSL, PPPoE (or PPPoA) on ATM vp/vc 8/35 (IPv4 only).

If VDSL/Fiber, PPPoE on vlan 835 with pbit priority 0 (IPv4 only) should work. IPv6 available with DHCP on vlan 832 and multiple priorities, much more complicated, see tutorials in french there https://lafibre.info/remplacer-livebox/

I can't see the first image yet (still waiting for validation) but seeing the second, I'm afraid that won't be possible.

I don't know the LB6 capabilities, but I doubt there is a "bridge mode" on it.

AFAIK this doesn't exist on any previous LB versions.

First question, what's the problem with your current setup (double NAT) ?

Because get rid of the Livebox will cause the loss of the telephone service associated with it, is that ok for you?
