Hello,

I recently moved abroad for school and will not be returning to France. I know that moving abroad is a legitimate reason for cancelling a contract, but I'm worried I'll be denied cancellation anyway and have to pay a large fine. What type of documents are necessary to prove I won't be returning to France so I can cancel my plan without incurring a fee?

If you move abroad for more than 6 months, it is possible to cancel the offer under the following conditions:

The documents must be less than 3 months old,
The customer must not have been aware of the event at the time of subscription,
The customer must have been a customer for more than 3 months.
Proof of address abroad must be provided.

In the case of early termination, proof of address is only required if the termination is on your initiative and is not caused by an error or non-compliance with Orange's commitments.

Hello,

I believe I had a contract with at least a 1 year commitment. What is the best way to go about cancelling my subscription? Should I try to explain my situation over the phone or just send a letter? Or should I send the information on the online form for best results? If they won't accept my documents, is it possible to just not cancel then?
