If we purchase a Wi-Fi Extender to boost the signal in an annex building can you only attach on thing to the booster or is it the same as the normal Wi-Fi box?

I allways prefer begin with some greetings, don't you ?

The device's name is self explaining, it's a Wi-Fi extender.

You may prefer use some Wi-Fi Access Point .

If you plan tu use an extender, you must install within wifi range of your box.

If you see AP mode, you have tob use en Ethernet cable to connect it to your router.

Most wifi extenders support both modes : extender and access point.

In AP mode you'll get a better throughput.

It's up to you
