Technician No Show

I had an appointment with a technician today from 12 PM to 15 PM. It's post 3 the technician is not here. I opted for fibre and he or she was about to come and activate the line.

I was waiting for this appointment since 5 days and didnot go to office because of this.

Yesterday I confirmed me availability with solution30, orange Partner.

I called them now to check but they said technician is not reachable put a complaint.

My whole day is wasted. My time has no value?

I'm in the same situation.

I booked an appointment 4 weeks ago for the installation of the Fibre. At my surprise the technician came 3 hours earlier than expected because (he was in the neighbourhood) The installation could not be completed because me residence manager wasn't expecting me at that time and wasn't there to open the telecom room.

Anyways, 3 weeks passed while I was desperately trying to reschedule for an other appointment.

Solution 30 says they can't do anything and that I have to take it up with Orange. I had to insist to get someone on the line, going through the english hotline, (because no answer from 3900), they said that Orange can't book me an appointment, that I'd have to see with the other service.

( WOW ! )

I finally was able to take an appointment, booked today from 9 to 11 am at last minute. I had to skip work, postpone meetings and try to work from home with my personal hotspot.

Technician is a no show. I keep calling Solution 30 every 30 min but they can't do anything beside say that they will call me back if they heard anything.

(It's been around 4 hours that I'm waiting for that call)
Well I just wasted an entire day for nothing.

Thought I opted for Orange to avoid this whole mess and have "the best client service experience" ...
This is just shameful !

I too have this problem. I confirmed the appointment for this past Friday, between 8am and 9am. The technician did not show up. Who do I need to call or email or text to get this done?

J'ai déménagé du Royaume-Uni en France l'année dernière. Je vis ici en permanence et j'aime tout ce que ce pays a à offrir, sauf la capacité d'Orange et leur échec après quatre mois et 12 interventions pour installer le haut débit. Le premier technicien est arrivé chez moi, a dit que c'était la mauvaise adresse et qu'il ne ferait pas le travail. Deux autres techniciens sont arrivés à des moments différents avec des escabeaux de 2 m et n'ont pas pu faire le travail car la maison mesure 8 m de haut. À neuf autres reprises, les techniciens ne se sont jamais présentés ! Orange, votre service est nul ! Il vous suffit de livrer 50 m de câble, tous les accessoires et accessoires et je ferai le travail moi-même.

I have been trying to have my fibre connected for 10 months now. I installed €2000 of cable and ducting in January to enable Orange to connect us. I attended a meeting with Orange in Gassin with a resident concierge who spoke fluent French and we arranged an appointment giving her mobile as she planned attend to attend on my behalf. After 3 no shows, I returned to Gassin, only to find that the engineer was phoning an obsolete number, not the number given. I now have an orange mobile acount and gave that number as a means of contact. An appointment was made for today 22/10 between 2-5pm. I received a confirmation phone call 4 days before and booked a return flight (€300) to be there for the technician. I was in from 1pm onwards and waited in for the rest of the day with the phone. No call, NO SHOW!

Hello Patricia, I was not aware of a new appointment. I will not be able to be there on the 7/11 but I can ask someone to be there if it is definite, I will have to pay the concierge for their time, so I need to know that it is certain. I have already spent a lot of money on travelling to & from France for a no show.
