Bonjour and hello,

I have to configure a Livebox Pro v3 to work in modem mode, as we have to use a different router (for several reasons).

I did not find an option in the Web interface to accomplish this. I read that there existed (or even still exist) models of Livebox that support a "mode bridge".

Can anyone tell me if Livebox Pro v3 can be configured to work as modem only?

If this is not possibble: What would you do? Run the router (with its own Firewall) on an IP configured as DMZ in Livebox? Create the other router as default gateway in Livebox?

Any help is highly appreciated.

Hello,

If you do not use the TOIP Orange, you are not required to use a Livebox and can replace it with a simple modem. If you use the Orange TOIP you can not do without the Livebox.
There are no configurable Livebox modem mode. (bridged mode).
You can turn the firewall of the Livebox to lower and create a DMZ to the IP router.
The equipments have the router as gateway, router will Livebox as a gateway.
