Problem open port Livebox

Hello,

Excuse me, but I dont speak French.

I am trying to configure the things to use Filezilla

I enter in the settings of the Livebox, then advanced settings > network configuration > NAT/PAT

Then i try to conect to the server with filezilla, and i cant, so I check if the port is open with http://www.whatsmyip.org/port-scanner/server/ but isnt open

I dont know why is closed....

Hi Guido,

What do you relly want to do ? Acces one of you device on your LAN from the Internet ?

If so, what kind of device is it, server, NAS ?

Thank you for the fast answer.

I want use Filezilla Client, to connect from my house to the web hosting server, to manage a website. FTP protocol need the port 21 open, and Filezilla is a program that use the FTP to conect to a server. I am only a simple user, without knowledge, so, perhaps i don't answer your questions

Don't worry, it does make sens :smileyhappy:

What does not is the fact you want to NAT ports to access a remote site...

You want to open ports on your side when you want to do it the other way round meaning acces your device at home from the Internet !

If any port need to be redirected it's on the server (remote) site.
