I bought on eBay an iPhone 4 with sim lock on Orange.
I checked the contract status via IMEI , it results expired.
I don't know the phone number or the costumer code of the real buyer.
How can I request the unlock?

It will be impossible to unlock iPhone without having informations of the former owner.
Purchases of telephone on sites
eBay and other is generally source of trouble.
On the Web you have several solutions like :
To jailbreak
or
on the Web there are sites to unlocking while paying
