My phone has been having issues all of a sudden not connecting to the internet, it switches in between apps while I'm using it, it closes an app mid usage, it hangs and stops responding when I'm using the phone, i can't make calls unless i refresh the internet or switch my phone on and off, the screen freezes.. I need a new phone in exchange for this one. I am insured

Do a soft reset (no data to worry about)
Long press on low volume and power
Wait for restart

Still not working. I had already tried that. I keep switching it on and off too just to regain network or stop the hanging
