I need a WiFi extension for our house on the 2nd floor. I'm the extender will create a second network and a name. When you move around the house, will the device automatically use the strongest signal? Will it work if I name the same thing? I never had an extension before. It depends on the equipment used: an extender with the same SSID/Livebox or a wifi access point connected to the livebox with ethernet connexion, with his own SSID.
First case: same wifi network. Second case: different network, and as long as the device is connected to a network it stays there; if he can not find the network he looks for another one and connects to it if he is registered in the device.
