Bonjour,

Malheureusement, je ne parle pas français, donc j'ai utilisé Google Translate pour cela.

J'ai acheté un Orange Internet Sim et un Airbox depuis un magasin en France. Le personnel m'a informé que cette combinaison fonctionnerait dans l'ensemble de l'UE. Cependant, il n'est pas possible de se connecter à un réseau dès maintenant et est donc inutile. Il n'a pas pu se connecter en Italie ou en Suisse. J'ai réinitialisé le périphérique, j'ai tourné l'itinérance dans Domino, j'ai réinséré la carte SIM et je me suis assuré que la broche était activée. J'ai également essayé de me connecter manuellement aux réseaux 4G, 3G et 2G mais il ne se connecte pas. J'ai essayé d'appeler à la fois les lignes d'assistance en anglais et en français, mais on m'a dit d'utiliser un nombre différent ou était déconnecté respectivement. Je suis encore en Italie, donc si cela pourrait être résolu rapidement, il serait grandement apprécié. 100 Euros est beaucoup d'argent pour quelque chose qui ne fonctionne pas ... déjà plus d'une semaine dans les vacances.

Unfortuantely I do not speak French so I have used Google Translate for this.

I have purchased an Orange internet data sim and an Airbox from a store in France. I was told by the staff that this combination would work across the EU. However it is not able to connect to any network right now and is therefore useless. It has not been able to connect in either Italy or Switzerland. I have reset the device, turned roaming on in Domino, reinserted the sim card and made sure the pin was enabled. I have also tried to manually connect to 4G, 3G and 2G networks however it will not connect. I have tried to call both the English and French helplines but I was told to use a different number or was disconnected respectively. I am still in Italy so if this could be resolved quickly it would be greatly appreciated. 100 Euros is a lot of money for something that doesnt work... already over 1 week into the holiday.

Currently I have not heard anything back yet from the Orange forum representative, but I went back to the Orange retail store I bought it from, and they cannot help or refund me. I have confirmed that the Airbox now ONLY works in France but NOT anywhere else in the EU. I was told by the Orange retail representative that this would work throughout the EU immediately when (and before) I purchased it, but it has failed completely in this regard.

Extremely disappointed as this was the only reason I spent 100 euros on it, and it seems that 100 euros has been thrown in the bin.

Did you ever get this resolved? I had the same problem with my Airbox. It didn't work at all in Italy last April, but my Orange phone did. I am going to be traveling outside France again and I am afraid the same thing will happen.

Avez-vous déjà résolu cela? J'ai eu le même problème avec mon Airbox. Cela n'a pas fonctionné en Italie en avril dernier, mais mon téléphone Orange l'a fait. Je vais de nouveau voyager à l'extérieur de la France et j'ai l'impression que la même chose se produira.

Without any help from orange I managed to solve it myself.
In the settings of the airbox I created the APN of orange BE and set is as default. I use a belgium sim card. For the moment I am in spain using the orange airbox with a belgian sim.
Before I used an orange FR prepaid data only sim, only in France I could use it because of the only data.
When you go out of france and use the airbox you need value to call and data.
Now I can use the orange airbox everywhere.
