Hi, Everyone,

My boyfriend gave me his sim card to use when I first got my phone.  He's been paying the bill since then.  Now, he is my ex and wants his SIM card back.  I would like to keep the same phone number.  I am going to take a plan. with Orange.  I have texted the number to receive the RIO number to allow me to keep the same number.  Of course, it states it is his number.  Will I be able to proceed with keeping the number with the new plan in my own name?

The RIO enables portability to the operator of your choice !

If you want to stay with Orange and if the Orange mobile line of your number is in his name, he is the holder and he must transfer the line to you to transfer the line to your surname and first name.

He says he does not know how to transfer the line into my name. Can you assist with how he can do that? The number is not currently with Orange.  Thank you.
