Question 1: Why is an 'up to' 2G fibre service supplied with a router that isn't capable of delivering over 1G?

Question 2: Is there a ready-to-go solution to replace the Livebox S with a router capable of 2.5G Ethernet? I see you can manually configure alternative routers but I'm looking for a pre-configured solution.

Q1 - 2 Gbits/s partagés. Max 1  Gbits/s par port 

Q 2 - c'est possible mais casse-pieds à mettre en place 

Donc le mieux : routeur sur une sortie ethernet de livebox, tu passes le routeur en DMZ dans la livebox et tu gères tout (dont la sécurité) avec ton routeur. Max 1  Gbits/s pour le routeur comme indiqué plus haut

I know it's shared; that's not what I asked. I asked why, if the service provided is up to 2G, Orange doesn't offer a solution to achieve this on a single device. Their older routers support this.

🇫🇷 Sur la Livebox S, les 4ports sont bien bridés à 1gb.

Toutefois un débit supérieur à celui-ci peut-être obtenu en wifi avec la technologie WIFI 7 et les équipements compatibles: Livebox 7 avec Wifi 7 dernière génération - Orange
