Hello,
I am Ad from Holland and I have a question about recharging my sim, Pass let's go.
We use this only once a year during holiday (3 weeks), to put in tablet or mifi for internet connection.
In the Orange-boutique online I found the place where I can recharge my sim. However, what I don't know is if it is directly activated. Or do I still have to call 0800-224224 once I enter France.
I would like to recharge when i'm still in Holland (Pass for 1 month, 2Gb), so when I cross the border and enter your lovely country, there is immediatly internet.
Can anyone help me. I have spent hours on the orange site but my french is not good enough unfortunatly to find the answer.

Hello Ad,
I have a pass Let's Go too, and when I connect to my "espace client", I can go to "mon suivi conso", where the ending date of my number is indicated after "numéro valide jusqu'au ... inclus".
In my opinion there is no need to re-activate, as you have already activated it at the beginning (but I cannot be 100% sure because I always got credit on mine from the beginning !).
When I recharge it is quite immediately available : I buy it online the last day of credit, and I can use it in the morning the next day (same remark as above...).
But you need to recharge before (or at) the ending date above, not to loose your number (and your SIM will become useless !).
Of course, this ending date is updated each time you recharge.

Thanks for your answer. When I go to "mon suivi conso" there is no contract. When I push "ajouter" I can enter my 06-number, but also have to fill in my clientnumber. I dont know this: I never received invoice/facture or e-mail.
However, they told me when I bought my sim (1 Gb for 1 month), I should recharge within 1 year, so it would stay valid, en I would not lose the number.
If I understand you correctly I don not have to activate? After recharging my sim (that has been used in august 2013 for the last time) should work immediatly for a month?
Will the month start when I recharge, of when I make the first connection once we arrive in France?

I also have an Orange Domino used once a year. After several unsuccessful attempts to recharge it outside France, via Visa, stopped off at an Orange shop on arrival in France. They told me that internet payment is only accepted for French cards (although they advertise Let's Go as ideal for tourists). Instead of queuing for hours in an Orange shop, just stop by a tobacco shop and buy a recharge.

I tried to recharge, but dutch creditcard (Visa) not accepted. So I have to buy recharge in France.
Can anyone tell me (in english) what I exactly must do once I have bought a recharge in tabacco-shop?
I know I have to call a number, but can I choose an english operator?

Hi,
once upon a time you purchased a key lets go at an Orane shop. They gave you the key and an invoice. The invoice mentions a "lien number", besides a number for the first charge. The "line number" is vital for all further future recharges. For the ensuite recharges you go to a tobacco shop and you choose your recharge amount. Please note, a 15€ recharge expires after 1 month, used or not (they have no real competition in socialist France and can act therefore this way economically). If your account is still valid, you recharge the key by calling the number for the recharge service. Then you type the number of your "line" and then the number mentioned in the bill you got from the tobacco shop. That's it. If your account expired already, you might have to reactivate your account in a Orange shop by paying a couple of Euros. You cannot pay with a foreign credit card.

I try to make a payment for my fix line in France with the help of the new European SEPA number. But Orange did not change this to the new European System. This way I came across your question. Besides the payment system had not been changed to the new European norms, I have to indicate a phone number. Once again, France does not reflect the European integration. The phone number cannot have more than 10 digits. This means, a mobile nr. or a foreign phone number will not be considered. Poor France. The change is for when?
