I reported by telephone was dead on the 11th July. The English-speaking helpline lied to us on four separate occasions, telling us that an engineer would go on the 12, the 13th snd the 18th and the 21st of July, but no one ever came. It will be over two weeks soon and we still have no phone ….what would you suggest we do?

If your telephone is linked to the livebox by wire, you must reboot the livebox.

i’ve tried that several times the phone is still dead. its been 17 days now

Try an another phone, and so it's necessary to check the phone wire connections on Livebox and on phone.
Soon if it isn't good you must call 3900 to explain situation to somebody speaking english, you must insist to have a spoken english people.
Yo must Say: "Je désire absolument parler à quelqu'un maitrisant l'anglais".
