Problems with my Promotional Rate
Hi,
When I first subscribed as a new customer of Orange on 27/05/19, I was told that my monthly rate would be a promotion as a new customer, €24.99 (minus the €3 Livebox rental fee). I even received a confirmation email from Orange stating that this would be my rate for the first 12 months. Instead, my first bill was €33.59 (including the Livebox rental fee)
I have been trying to get this matter fixed for two months, and whenever I call to explain the matter to a new representative on the English line, they are extremely rude, tell me to be quiet, and treat me like a child. No one wants to take the time to understand my situation. My Internet service didn’t work for the first month, and Orange said it was because Free had taken my line. So they had to cancel the contract and create a new line. I was told I would get a credit/refund on my second bill after the matter was resolved. The next bill didn’t show a credit and it also still had the wrong rate.
The representatives tell me they see a claim on file, but that’s only for the credit, not to correct my monthly rate. I agreed to a lower rate as a new customer and Orange is charging a higher rate than promised. I don’t know what else to do. Can anyone please help me resolve the matter?
