Had a LIVEBOX 6 connected for over a year no problems but as the mobile reception here where we live is poor decided to connect a telephone to the unit and cannot get it to work. Purchased a recommended Gigaset telephone with answer machine plugged it in and did the telephone line test and got nowhere

Slightly difficult as the phone doesn’t work and there is very poor mobile connection where we live.

I can't work out whether this phone is purely DECT or whether the base station can be connected to the telephone socket on the box.

If it is only DECT, it will not be possible to connect it, as the box does not have the DECT function.
