We arrive in France in February from New Zealand for 6-12 months

We require 3 SIMs but I am struggling to understand some plans

1. When it says an engagement is 12 months, does that mean a minimum of 12 months for example if I had 2hGO does that mean a minimum of 6.99 euro each month for 12 months or can I stop before then?

2. What is the difference between a blocked plan and a non blocked plan?

3. With a prepaid plan such as Mobicarte Mini (2.99 euros) can I add 2GB per month for 5 ruros as shown here https://boutique.orange.fr/mobile/options/pass-option-internet-forfait

We want to be able to use up to 1-2GB per month of data and pay as needed?

1 / Yes, but with cancellation fees

2 / You can call for a fixed amount fixed in advance and your package is blocked as soon as this amount is reached. You can't make calls outside your bundle, but you can buy top-ups during the month if necessary.
The non-blocked package allows you to continue calling once you have used up your hourly volume. You will then be out of bundle, which you will pay for in addition to your subscription.
The mobicarte allows you to buy consumer credits whenever you want without a subscription.

Which Orange options here (or elsewhere) can I buy Internet data to add the 2.99 euro Mobicarte Mini?

In summary we are after Internet without a 12 month subscription. If the data includes voice and sms we have no issue with that
