I am American Student here in Paris. I never had time to reinstall my SIM from last year due to the crisis. Now I have a SIM but no way to "top off" the service online. It seems ORANGE does not accept "foreign" credit cards or bank cards? Does anyone know a way around this? I would like to establish cellular/data service while I am here but all the shops are closed and every time I try to order a prepaid plan or even another SIM card I am told that my credit cards are unauthorized. Any help in English would be great. Thank you.

to answer your questions.

1) I already have a Sim card that's still valid. It just cannot recharge because the Orange website won't accept my foreign credit card.

2) If I order from that website it will just give me another SIM card and a Holiday plan that expires in 14 days...I still will be unable to recharge the plan at the end of 14 days.

Also, I would like a better plan since I do live here in Paris now. 

Does anyone know of another way? 

There is also no concrete information on Orange about which Tabac shops carry rechargeable plans or if they will sell any service beyond a new sim/holiday plan.

Thank you, I tried contacting them but the woman on chat hung up on me. I also don't have a phone to call them at this time.

What if I have this exact same problem, but I am not in France and cannot go to a store there? I am in Portugal and have the same plan (Holiday), same situation - the website won't accept my bank card since it is in the USA, even though I was promised in the contract that Orange would accepted foreign bank cards for top ups. I am very frustrated with Orange right now.
