Hello, I bought an iPhone 4 from someone on Intrenet. I checked and the phone seems to be locked to Orange France. I would be interested if you it can be unlocked because I checked the imei and it results this phone  is out of contract period. I am not from France I would like if possible an e-mail to an Orange consultant who can help me and can communicate in English because I use google translate to write this post. Thank orange team. I apologize if this message is not correctly written in French i do not know to speak Franch

Sorry, there be the buyer of the iPhone with Orange (account number etc ...) for désimlockage Orange
There are shops that offer désimlockage but it is quite expensive

I heard that the carrer dose the unlocking and that is on apple official website.

The phone was buyed in 2010 and it's 4 years since then i tink it's out of contract. 

I know that there are stores but i don't know if they ar leghit. 

I understood from an orange retailer in my country that the unlock is free after the 2 years contract period expired, im not the contract owner but i tink its expired becaus it was buyed in 2010 due to the imei data. And he said to contact orange france to see if i can sort something out. Im not the one who did the contract so i do not have any original contract details i haven't been to frace never i buyed the iphone in the contry i live in from someone that claimed to use it whit gevey sim, i mantion that i don't personaly know the seller we it was an internet tranzaction hope someone can help me

If the iPhone was purchased on the Apple site, it is not simlock as you say.
So no need to désimlockage ...

The other problem is, it must be actived on the Itunes site, see

The iphone is not buyed form apple store it's buyed from Orange France.

But conform apple official web page the unlock must be done by the career where the phone was purchased which is Orange France. So conform apple unlock procedure i must speak whit an orange colsuntant to make a request for unlock. I checked my phone's imei for a career lock and its locked to orange france and it was buyed from orange france in octomber 2010
