I am staying at a friends house and today their Livebox Internet stopped working. The error message on the screen says “Synchronisation issue, check your cables”. 
I have restarted the box several times and disconnected and reconnected all the cables.

There is no dial tone on the telephone, and no internet service.

This issue started today and there is still no service. Would appreciate any assistance.

If everything is OK in your home (reboot livebox and cables), no doubt there is a fault on the outside line.
In this case, the contract holder must call assistance (Phone 3900) who will make a diagnosis and send a technician if necessary.
